Our client an IT Solutions Company is looking for a Desktop Engineer to join their team. 

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

1.  Remote and onsite for support end user computing and mobile devices, peripherals and software
2. Troubleshoot client/server communication issues, service failures
3. Hardware diagnostic/repair (where applicable) and re/installation
4. Interface directly with customers to resolve queries and incidents
5. Installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all PC equipment
6. Image Workstation for new deployments
7. Troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion.
8. Handle and resolve Incident and Request management as prioritize by the TL IT Operations while adhering to agreed service levels agreement targets
9. Maintain an excellent level of documentation and knowledge base management
10. Preform Asset Management activities for all IT equipment
11. Provide Asset Management reports as required weekly and Monthly to TL IT Operations 
    

 Key Qualifications/Competencies:

1.   3-5 years’ experience within customer service within Information Technology
2.  A University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in        I.T.   processes, infrastructure and application within production / operation
3.   ITIL V3 Foundation Level Certified an asset
4.   Experience with end user device support within a corporate environment
5.   Superior problem solving and communication skills
6.   Work effectively in a fast-paced setting with multiple customer priorities
7.   Demonstrable experience working in a client facing position within an ITIL                 context
8.    Ability to work unsupervised and manage time effectively
9.    Strong experience in the Microsoft product suite including Windows and Office/365
10.    Remote support/tools
11.    Exchange/Active Directory/File Share management
12.    Professional appearance in a client facing role
13.    Potential after hours support and light travel
