A client is currently seeking a high calibre candidate for the following position:

Bags Development Manager

(Station in Dongguan) – Urgent!

Responsibilities:

• Work with overseas team and on the development, foresee the potential issues and offer solutions

Requirements:

• 15 years of working experience in bags / accessories
• Strong knowledge of bag construction, materials, components
• Strong knowledge of all materials used in bags and accessories (PU, PVC, cotton, polyester, etc.) as well as the ability to take local market materials and develop them at lower cost per yard with suppliers
• Strong knowledge of material printing and decorating techniques
• Strong project development skills, good understanding of cost analysis and target price negotiation to make product selection
• Highly organized with ability to manage and supervise and review the team work
• Clearly communicate priorities and track results with team
• Strong communication skills and good problem solving skills
• Able to review designs and find solutions that meet customer's expectations and are in budget
• Creative / innovative thinker
• Fluent in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
