Successful candidates will be on secondment to the Hong Kong Housing Authority on contract basis.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Holder of Associate Degree / Higher Diploma in Horticulture / Landscape Design / Biology / Geography / Environmental Management, or equivalent and 
• Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSE or Grade E or above in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in HKCEE before 2007, or equivalent;  and 
• Possess a horticulture related training qualification accredited by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualification at Qualification Framework Level 3 or equivalent; and
• A minimum of one (1) year post vocational qualification working experience in horticulture management / landscape design / arboriculture or related field; and 
• Familiar with the application of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.; and
• Be able to speak fluent Cantonese. 

 The Job:

• Assist in providing advice to estate management staff on horticultural maintenance matters;
• Assist in monitoring the progress on horticultural maintenance of special greening features, such as vertical green panels and green roof in public rental housing estates;
• Assist in organizing greening promotional activities and educational activities in public rental housing estates, like community garden program, EMAC-funded greening program and guided horticulture visits;
• Assist in preparing drawings for landscape improvement works;
• Assist in implementing waste recycling projects, like replanting of citrus plants and recycling of yard waste; and
• Perform any other duties as required. 

Salary :  HK$21,872.00 per month
