Job Description

As an Assistant HR Manager - based in Hong Kong, you will oversee and support the full spectrum of the Human Resources function for the Group with specific focus on local and regional projects to assist with the Group’s rapid business growth and expansion. You will be expected to determine, drive and develop programs/initiatives across various focus such as organisational change, employee development and engagement etc. In addition, you will be expected to foster strong HR business partnership with the respective business units to assist in the full employee lifecycle to meet both short and long term business objectives. The ideal HR professional for this role will embody an innovative mindset with the ability to engage/interact at all levels and thrive in translating HR programs/initiatives to meet overall business objectives. Possess amicable understanding of HR processes and statutory practices. More importantly, an emphatic HR professional that is engaging, forward thinking and people- orientated.

 

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Psychology and or related Business Discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of HR generalist experience or 3 years in HR Business Partnering capacity, preferably with regional coverage. Candidates from start-ups and/or emerging businesses in areas of technology, engineering, design etc will be advantageous
  • Full employee lifecycle exposure; with specific focus in either recruitment, training, and/or organisational development
  • Verse in handling multiple HR projects and programs across Greater China
  • Comfortable in interacting with all levels of individuals ranging from ground staff to management
  • Amicable interpersonal/ communication skills with fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese; Written English and Chinese is a must
  • Good, general understanding of Hong Kong Labour Law and practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft office and operating systems (SAP, Taleo etc will be advantageous)
  • Adaptable, agile and ability to demonstrate logical thoughts process to varying and complex organisational issues
  • People orientated, innovative and willing to embrace new HR practices and methodologies
