Objective:

To support the Financial Controller in overseeing budget planning, forecasts and company control activities. Ensuring integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial statements.The Assistant Financial Controller also needs to provide technical expertise on significant accounting issues, monitor and strengthen internal controls.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support the annual financial planning process (budgeting and forecasting)
• Assist the controller in producing financial statements and reporting
• Assist with analysis and stores performances by collecting, analyzing and reporting financial and statistical data
• Monitor sales, costs, margins and inventory and carry out all analysis required to identify variance’s causes
• Support on shop KPI targets settings and monthly controls activities
• Analyze trends, formulate projections for retail and wholesale business
• Work closely with other Functions to ensure data quality and integrity
• Completes ad hoc projects and duties assigned by the line manager from time to time

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree or above in Accountancy / Economics / Finance or any related discipline
• Minimum 1 year relevant experience in Controlling Department of Multinational company (Fashion or Retail Industry preferred) or Audit (Big 4)
• Fluent English is mandatory
• Excellent MS Excel skills; knowledge of SQL, MS Powerpoint, SAP, Oracle Essbase is a plus
