Position Overview:

Working in an exciting and fast-paced environment, the candidate will prepare and review consolidated financial statements and analysis for management review and for external reporting requirements.  He/she will also provide support to the other finance functions on complex transactions and ad hoc projects.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the whole consolidation process of the Group
• Prepare and review monthly consolidated financial statements and analysis for management review
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements for external reporting purposes
• Review purchase price allocation for newly acquired subsidiaries
• Coordinate with the BU finance teams and provide timely technical support
• Coordinate with IR team and provide financial analysis as needed
• Provide support on any other ad-hoc projects

Requirements:

• University degree with a professional accounting qualification
• 12 to 15 years of work experience, preferably from Big 4 plus some commercial experience
• Experience in IT, media or internet businesses is a plus
• Excellent understanding of US GAAP and IFRS, particularly on business combinations and financial instruments
• Mature, self-motivated, strong sense of responsibility, independent, detail-oriented and well organized
• Team player but capable to work independently with minimum supervision; experience in leading successful teams is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in Mandarin, English and Cantonese  
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience in Oracle and Hyperion an added advantage
• Willing to travel occasionally
• Immediate availability is preferred
