Due to the rapid expansion of our consultancy services in Hong Kong, we are looking for suitable applicant to fill up the following vacancy in Vigers Building Consultancy Limited:

(1)     Assistant Building Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, project management, and contract administration of building refurbishment and new developments
• Preparation of statutory submissions to Buildings Department
• Understanding condition surveys and executing defects diagnosis

Requirements:

• Degree or Associate Degree in Building Surveying / Architectural Studies / Building or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' working experience in Building Contractor or Building Consultancy firm.
• Familiar with building ordinances.
• Training will be provided to candidates for HKIS practical task training / examination.
• Mature with good communication and negotiation skills.
• Immediate availability is preferred

(2)     Assistant Clerk of Works

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the supervision of building and maintenance works for commercial and residential sites
• Performing skilled technical work
• Supervising contractors

Requirements:

• Diploma or Higher Certificate holder in Building or Building Studies from a Hong Kong Polytechnic University/Polytechnic, the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education or Technical Institute/College, or equivalent;
• 3 years' relevant experience in building works after obtaining the technical qualifications stipulated above.

(3)     Structural Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for design and project management of building structural projects
• Attend design meetings, site meetings and all other project related meetings
• Liaise with clients, consultants and Government departments on statutory compliance
• Provide technical support on structural matters

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Structural Engineering or equivalent
• Corporate membership of HKIE on Structural discipline
• Minimum 5 years working experience in Professional Consultancy firms
• Preferably registered under the Buildings Ordinance as RSE
• Familiar with Buildings Department and authority submission procedures
• Mature with good communication and negotiation skills
• Immediate availability is preferred
