Principal Responsibilities:

• Maintain proper and accurate general ledger
• Bank reconciliation
• Weekly cash reporting
• Monthly/quarterly/yearly Cartesis reporting to regional/global
• Prepare month end closing folder
• Review AR and AP transactions
• Manage Fixed Assets
• Prepare monthly journal entries
• Manage online expense system
• Intercompany balances reconciliation
• Prepare P&L, balance sheet reconciliation and review
• Complete job closing in system
• Client account setup
• Internal/SOX Control Compliance
• SOX audit / Statutory Audit / Internal Audit / IT Audit
• Ad hoc tasks

Candidate Specification

 Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in finance and/or accounting,
• Relevant professional qualification

Experience:

• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience in multinational companies
• Able to work with both the finance team and non-finance business teams
• Exposure to SOX or internal audit
• Proficiency in HSBCnet and Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge and experience with Maconomy, Cartesis financial systems are advantage
