Job Description
Our client is a multinational insurance firm with massive footprints globally. The company is urgently seeking a Manager / Senior Manager to look after their IFRS 9 accounting policy program.
As a Manager / Senior Manager, IFRS 9 Consultation,you will be responsible for the following:-
- Support overall delivery of IFRS 9 on assessment of current end-to-end processes, design of business transactions, and implementation
- Review end-to-end investment accounting systems and process design relating to IFRS 9
- Manage implementation of recommendation through to completion
- Ensure delivery to agreed timelines
- Provide technical knowledge on investment accounting and IFRS 9
- Support day to day communication within regional office and local business units
To be considered as a Manager / Senior Manager, IFRS 9 Consultation, you possess the following:-
- University degree in Accounting, Actuarial Science, and/or related disciplines
- Professional qualification in ACCA, HKICPA, or equivalent would be an advantage
- Relevant experience in IFRS accounting policy
- IFRS 9 experience is a plus
- Sound knowledge of process and control design
- Experienced in cross-region projects and stakeholder management
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English
- Immediately available candidates will have an added advantage
