Job Description

Position Summary: 

Primary point of contact for customers/ manufacturers. Manages the supply, flow, and servicing of the business, to include scheduling, ordering, fine tuning, delivering and troubleshooting at multiple trading phases. Communicates proactively with customers to avoid delays, adapt to changes and, when necessary, address problems.

Candidate must demonstrate knowledge in international trades data management, external and internal customer service, and multi-cultural communication through the everyday interaction with different region of international partners.

Full‐time position:  40 hours per week. Mon-Fri 9am-6pm.   

Reports to: Executive Director

Duties and Responsibilities:   

1. Schedule, place and follow up on customer orders; verify pricing and part counts; schedule delivery and create delivery paperwork

2. Coordinate changes (options/ upgrades/ adds/ etc.) to customer orders

3. Communicate with vendors/ customers to correct any discrepancies promptly

4. Verify invoices to ensure all information such as model number, quantity and price are correct  

5. Answers routine inquiries to both internal and external customers using discretion, professionalism and exceptional customer service

6. Performs special projects as assigned by the Executive(s)

7. Enter data and produce reports on the status of projects regularly and as requested

8. Liaise with clients/ designers/ consultants and internal parties to ensure the client’s expectations are met through the Company’s design development

 

Qualifications: The successful candidate will:

1. Have a Bachelor degree or higher with at least 3 years experience and knowledge ininternational trading and business administration.

2. Have experience in Microsoft Office products mainly Excel, Word and Outlook.

3. Have demonstrated ability to make sound professional decisions.

4. Maintain client and business confidentiality.

5. Be self-directed and self‐motivated.

6. Be detail-oriented, organized, accurate and patient.

7. Display strong communication, interpersonal and decision-making skills.

8. Be able to work with people of diverse backgrounds/cultures with excellent customer service skills.

9. Possess computer skills, including a working knowledge of common software programs.

10. Present a professional appearance and demeanor.

12. Must have professional/business telephone and email skills.

13. Be willing to do what it takes to get the job done in a timely manner.

14. Candidates who are proficient  in written, spoken English and Mandarin are preferred.
