Job objective:

To assist the management in develop and enhance FoE’s current green economy position in the market, identify area of improvement and to execute a road-map to boost the green finance development in Hong Kong. 

Key responsibilities:

• Facilitates public debate and sharing involving academics, practitioners, politicians & government representatives via different events including seminars, film shows, workshops to determine workable sustainable / green economy for HK;
• Analyse business case studies on the global trend on Green Economy, particularly divestment on heavy polluted industries and investment on sustainable and circular economy;
• Disseminates and collaborates with corporate banking industry reacting to global environmental concerns and adopting policies and guidelines that are socially responsible integrating social and environmental considerations
• Organizes reviews & studies on environmental sustainability issues, prepare green finance related research articles and reports;
• Disseminates key CSR advocacy messages, operational guidance and personal practice information to stakeholders in industries, institutions and communities;
• Contributes towards FoE HK’s central database of supporters & promotion network in changing CSR knowledge, attitude and practice via information, education and communication;
• Assists in planning, developing and executing CSR Training Initiatives, Projects and Programmes;
• Explores different CSR training means for enhancing training effectiveness;

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above, major in Finance/ Economic/ Environment, CSR/ Sustainability or equivalent
• Over 5 years working experience in finance / environmental field
• Eexperience in financial planning, green investment or sustainable finance is an advantage
• Exposure in financing, bonds and investment strategy planning
• Association with professional organization/ strategic working group/ networking with financing & investment professionals and economists involved in Green Finance preferred
• Be self-starter but also a team player, open minded, self-disciplined, motivated, and willing to learn;
• Outstanding leadership and conflict management skills
• Ability to network at a strategic market level; establish credibility and relationships with diverse individuals and groups
• Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Processing.
• Excellent command of spoken and written Chinese, English and Mandarin.
