Job Description

Our client is renowned corporate bank, to cope with their business expansion, they are currently hiring Manager - Integrated Risk Assessment to join their Risk Portfolio Management team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Bank’s Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) including assessment of material risks facing the Bank, coordination with Finance departments and risk specialists for various risk types to quantify capital demands and assess capital adequacy of the Bank;
  • Perform bank-wide credit stress testing (e.g. Pillar 1 & 2 stress tests, HKMA SDST) and provide insights for better understanding of the potential impact of adverse events;
  • Work with key stakeholders e.g. Business Units and Finance departments on portfolio management / assessment initiatives such as risk adjusted return analytics, portfolio/concentration management and limit setting;
  • Interaction with stakeholders from Business Units, Risk and Finance departments at the Bank as well as from the head office; and
  • Enhancement of BAU processes to improve robustness and productivity.

Requirements:

  • University degree discipline preferably in quantitative discipline e.g. business, accountancy, engineering, statistics, mathematics etc;
  • 4 to 5 years' relevant experience;
  • Strong understanding of Basel II/III framework particularly Pillar 2 requirements and/or experience of credit risk modelling will be a plus;
  • Strong understanding of banking and main banking products;
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, experience in senior stakeholder management will be a plus;
  • Able to multi-task in a complex and changing environment;
  • A team player as well as able to work independently;
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, working knowledge of statistical applications, e.g. SAS preferred but not pre-requisite; and
  • Prior experiences in one or more areas listed in the team responsibilities is preferred.
