Our client is a European corporate and investment bank with a strong presence in Asia HK Regional Hub with over 500 employees is in search for FX/MM Capital Market Operations/Confirmation AVP

• Assume team lead function to oversight the timely & efficient Operations/Confirmation of FXMM/IRS/Derivatives and Structured products across SGP, HK, China and Japan offices
• Ensure timely trade booking & confirmation in accordance with local regulations and the internal policy
• On-going monitoring/review of back to back operation process, application systems and procedures
• Identify/recommend enhancements/quality services to ensure the effectiveness in transaction processing and settlement
• Identify and resolve workflow issues and problems
• Daily reporting/management of internal control
• Active participation in regional/ global operations initiatives

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance/ Mathematics/ Engineering or related disciplines, preferably with a professional qualification
• 8yrs+ years of FXMM, Rates & Fixed Income operations and operational control experience, with at least 3 years leading in a managerial capacity, acquired from sizable global leading financial institutions
• Self-driven, motivational and an exceptional team player with strong organizational and delegation skills
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with great attention to details, strong influencing skills and superb judgment ability
• Adaptive to working in a multicultural int'l environment
• Fluent communication and interpersonal skills in both verbal and written English, proficient in French or any Asia language is an advantage
