This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.

 The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that the works are built to achieve the project objectives in a safe and timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring work progress; preparing comprehensive daily work records and monthly safety reports; providing other administrative supports as assigned;
• Managing a supervision team to ensure the safe and effective implementation of construction works;
• Managing the project site to ensure the compliance of works with the contract drawings, specifications, materials, workmanship and quality;
• Monitoring the work progress against the Works Programme and report directly to the management on site problems;
• Ensuring the consistent preparation and maintenance of site records for safety, quality and resources;
• Driving the contractors on continuous improvement in safety performance and a safe working culture; and uplifting the safety standards to achieve the Authority’s safety goals; and
• Proactively anticipating and resolving all interface and construction problems between different disciplines and adjacent projects including but not limited to the coordination of logistic issues arising throughout all the construction stages.

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma / Higher Certificate in Civil / Structural Engineering or other related disciplines with at least 10 years' experience in site supervision of large multi-disciplinary projects
• Degree holder in related disciplines with 6 years’ relevant experience will also be considered
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Possession of a valid driving license is preferred
