FACILITIES MANAGEMENT OFFICE
Assistant Facilities Officer (Electrical System) (Ref. 19041610-E13)
Duties
The appointee will report to the Technical Services Section and be required to:
(a) assist in the planning and implementation of daily operation, repairs, maintenance, alterations and additions work, and handover inspection;
(b) lead a team of skilled front-line staff in providing client-focused facilities management services and arrange all necessary follow up/remedial works including emergency
repair;
(c) liaise with contractors and oversee the implementation of scheduled works;
(d) follow up job orders and monitor the progress/quality of work performed by contractors and in-house staff;
(e) carry out routine checking and inspection of electrical systems and installations;
(f) perform shift duties including working on Saturdays/Sundays/public holidays when necessary; and
(g) handle any other duties as assigned by the Director of Office or his delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) a recognised certificate/diploma in Electrical or Building Services plus relevant work experience in generators, LV switchboards, lighting and distribution system, etc.;
(b) a Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker of Grade B or Grade C;
(c) sound knowledge of and experience in the operation of facilities management industry; and
(d) knowledge of office computer softwares including MS Office and AutoCAD.
Preference will be given to those with knowledge of computerised maintenance system.

Remuneration and Conditions of Service
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual
agreement. Applicants should state their current and expected salary in the application.
