Responsibilities:

1. Handle contractual issues, project planning and delay analysis
2. Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
3. Prepare cost analysis based on the architectural drawings, engineering estimates, materials required and labour involved.
4. Responsible for details evaluation of the tender/quotations including VO
5. Measurement, valuation of variation works, interim payment and settlement of Final Accounts with clients / Sub-contractors independently
6. Responsible for pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying works
7. Prepare contractual claims and assist in dispute resolution
8. Preparation of contracts, including details regarding quantities of required materials
9. On-going cost analysis of maintenance and repair work
10. Control all stages of projects within predetermined budget and expenditure.
11. Carry out monthly valuations of work in progress, including forecasting of final costs and sales.
12. Work as part of a team to ensure that the requirements of budget holder are delivered.
13. Site visits, assessments and projections for future works
14. Able to work well within a team based environment.
15. Monitor all commercial information in relation to project including labour, material and sub-contractor cost forecasting thus ensuring budgets adhered to.

Requirements:

1. Degree or equivalent, preferably with relevant professional / qualification
2. At least 3-5 years of solid experience in QS practice as well as procurement, experience in tender analysis in building maintenance field will be an advantage
3. Proficiency in general contract administration and quantity surveying skills
4. Good command of both written and spoken Chinese and English
5. Knowledge in PowerPoint, MS Word, Excel and Chinese Word Processing
