Nutek Systems is a leading testing laboratory for pipes and fittings in the construction industry of Hong Kong.  Through our testing services, we help ensure the safety and performance of construction materials and safeguard the well-being of the people of Hong Kong.

As a Chemist, you will be exposed to a broad spectrum of work from drafting procedures, calibrating equipment to testing samples. You will be challenged to think outside the box and propose original ideas that will excel the company.

Key responsibilities include

-          Conduct chemical testing in accordance with British Standards and other international standards

-          Operate, calibrate and maintain testing instruments e.g. ICP-MS, ICP-OES, AAS, GC-MS, LC-MS, etc.

-          Apply for HOKLAS accreditation in chemical testing

-          Prepare quality management documentations

Education

University degree in chemistry or related disciplines

Critical competencies

-          Highly analytical and able to solve complex problems

-          Strong technical writing skills in English

-          Fluent in Cantonese and English

-          Self-motivated and able to work independently or as a team

-          Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Experience

Minimum 3 years in lab testing and technical writing.
