Responsibilities:

Reporting to the General Manager – Business Development, the incumbent will play an important role in the planning and acquisition as well as development stages of our prestigious residential and mixed-use projects in Mainland China.  Duties include:

• providing professional architectural design support for feasibility study, with an aim to maximize the potential of the proposed land sites / developments
• undertaking thorough research and development of architectural design (product design) by making reference to market trends and needs   
• assisting throughout the project stage by working with local teams on design development
• coordinating with consultants in drafting initial Master Layout Plan, etc
• preparing design milestones and ensuring design development is in compliance with statutory requirements

Requirements:

• Qualified Architect with 6-8 years’ relevant experience with focus on design of residential and mixed-use projects including China projects exposure
• Good conceptual design and master layout planning experience gained from large scale developments in Mainland China
• Familiar with local land acquisition approval procedures and other related regulations
• Good knowledge of Mainland property markets especially the social and economic situations of emerging Mainland cities  
• Creative and resourceful, with strong passion for exploring new ideas and continuous design improvement
• Good commercial sense and with update knowledge of architectural design trends and techniques
• Self-motivated, highly adaptable to a fast paced environment and with proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet tight deadlines
• Good AutoCAD and sketch up skills
• Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese including Putonghua
• Occasional travel to Mainland China required

Candidates with less experience will be considered as Architect.

We work 5 days per week.
