Our client is one of the leading IT startup companies that provides e-commerce solutions to empower small businesses. To cope with their business expansion, they are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join their IT team to work on their web and mobile platform development projects.

About the Role:

Reporting to the IT Manager, you will design innovative ways for both web and mobile platform development. Through writing well crafted, tested, readable and maintainable codes, you will architect, develop and maintain high quality and scalable applications. Your role will go beyond coding and make an impact on the design, development and overall direction of the company's products. Thus, your knowledge and recommendations on emerging technologies and techniques will play an important part of the company's success.

Requirements:

• Degree educated in Computer Science/ Engineering or other related disciplines;
• At least 2 years of experience as an engineer working with database, object-oriented programming and MVC Frameworks;
• Perform your daily tasks and assignments using programs and tools such as HTML5/ CSS#/ JavaScript, AngularJS, Ruby on Rails, MongoDB and AWS Services;
• Willingness to take ownership of tasks and features assigned;
• Ability to work independently and figure out what should be done then take action; Experience working in a fast-paced startup company building e-commerce platforms will be an asset;
• Proficiency in written and spoken in English and Cantonese;
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as a Senior Engineer.
