Job Description

The COO Office of the Post-Trade Division works closely with Head of Post-Trade Division to lead, oversee and coordinate internal communication, resource planning, budget planning, management reporting, and staff event management within Division.

 

The successful applicant will work in the COO Office of the Post-Trade Division supporting various functions/ initiatives:

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Gather, consolidate and interpret information provided by various business teams and write business reports or produce PowerPoint presentations for senior management's consumption
  • Optimize business processes, procedures and policies through in-depth evaluation, and drive the execution of continuous process improvements across business teams
  • Fortify business performance, efficiency and effectiveness by engaging cross functional support of business process improvement
  • Support management in strategic and project planning, setting hiring needs and resource planning
  • Develop and implement budgets, prepare regular budget monitoring reports for senior management
  • Plan and coordinate staff engagement events such as team building activities, Division-wide town hall meetings
  • Perform any ad hoc tasks as assigned

 

Job Requirements:

  • University Degree, preferably in Finance/ Business/ Economics or related subjects
  • At least 6 years' relevant experience, of which at least 2 years at supervisory level in well-established financial organizations
  • Excellent at managing and influencing a wide network of stakeholders, including senior management, able to influence and build relationships
  • Excellent documentation skills, ability to create high quality management presentations
  • Strong interpersonal skills and leadership capability are paramount
  • Business analysis and/ or project management experience is a definite plus
  • Proactive, flexible, innovative, ability to multi-tasks
  • Good knowledge of central clearing and settlement or clearing risk management is a plus
  • Excellent Microsoft PowerPoint, WORD and EXCEL skills
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
