About the Job

• Participate in R&D projects for Hai Kang Life's molecular diagnostic system;
• Provide assistance in design, development, and testing regarding all aspects of engineering including mechanics, electrics, or optics, and software interfaces;
• Follow specific instructions of supervisor or more experienced engineers to perform the less complex R&D tasks associated with various engineering activities;
• Participate in, and assist engineers involved in a variety of more complex engineering activities;
• Develop technically accurate, clean, and deliverable drawings;
• Participate in conducting experiments and testing of developed prototype components;
• Monitor progress, comply with quality and schedule requirements, and maintain appropriate documentation of work and project records;
• Troubleshoot and resolve routine problems and assist in resolving more complex issues;
• Participate in the research and development discussions and presenting research findings;
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Ideally, you should be/possess:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree or above in engineering or related field;
• 0-2 years relevant working experience preferred;
• Experience with 2-D and 3-D software applications such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks;
• Good technical experience in design, debug and problem solving;
• Mature, responsible, independent, detail-minded and able to work under pressure;
• Good communication skills to communicate with colleagues at all levels and top management;
• Positive, self-starter and willing to take up challenges to meet projects deadline;
• Good command in both verbal and written Chinese and English.
