Responsibilities:

• Design, build and maintain clean, high performance, reusable, and robust native Android applications
• Consult with clients in industries such as retail, education, and financial services
• Quick Software prototyping
• Translate designs and wire-frames into high-quality code
• Think about user experience while implementing designs
• Work on bugs and improve application performances
• Participate in code reviews
• Prioritize, manage deadlines and deliver highest quality work
• Support integration test, UAT and production 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent/related work experience
• At least 1 year relevant experience
• Proficient in Java or Kotlin
• Experience writing and executing unit and integration tests.
• Familiar with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Knowledge of Android SDK and different versions of Android
• Knowledge/ Experience in creating responsive layouts
• Knowledge of Android UI design principles (e.g. Google’s Android design principles) and best practices.
• Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch”
• Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Fast learner with passion about software development or technology
• Strong problem solving and analysis skills
• Good command in both spoken and written English & Chinese
