Job Description
About The Role
The Operation manager is responsible to ensure our buildings and apartments are running smoothly and provide high level of Members Experience.
Goals And Objectives
● Illustrate Hmlet hong kong’s core values and strive to achieve our mission
● Manage building and apartment general maintenance to ensure high level of member experience
● Build, manage, schedule, train and retain a network and a team of operational and maintenance staffs
● Support Community Team in ad-hoc tasks and monthly events
● Develop and review operation policies and procedures to ensure smooth daily operations
● Analyze internal operation and identify areas of process enhancement
● Work closely with Country Head and Community Team for better understanding of members’ needs
● Help coordinate and support renovation projects
● Prepare weekly operation report
● Manage and ensure finished products are ready to be published
Duties And Responsibilities
Operational
● Ensure that apartments and buildings are fully operational and processes are running smoothly
● Communicate and liaise with community team to manage check-ins and check-outs
● Receive and assign tickets to operation and maintenance staffs or outsourced 3rd parties for day-to-day
operations
● Manage the operation & maintenance team as well as third parties to ensure high level of standard provided for
our members
● Align operation and maintenance process with global Hmlet standards
● Communicate with Country Manager and Head of Operation (Singapore) to review and improve process
● Provide monthly performance and process analysis
● Schedule and design roster
● Maintain expenses at low cost
● Provide support in logistics and material arrangement
● Maximize the operation efficiency by managing and supporting day-to-day operational needs
Service Management
● Select, assess and manage 3rd party service providers
● Communicate with Community Team on standard and levels of services provided
● Manage responses with Hmlet teams and members on app
● Stock management
Building and Apartment Management
● Manage keys and other access requests where applicable
● Ensuring apartments and/or building is clean and well kept
● Submit and manage building receipts for expense reports
● Identify issues for escalation to Community Team and Country Manager also to document accordingly
● Ordering consumables and managing stock
● Report any issues to Country Manager
Requirements
● At least 3 years experience
● Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
● Operational/Hospitality background preferred
● Understanding and experienced in managing people
● Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
● Demonstrate integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self-awareness, work ethic, and empathy
● Passion and understanding for entrepreneurial communities
● Passion and understanding for Hmlet Hong Kong mission and value
● Outstanding Written & Verbal English and Chinese
● With operation/maintenance/construction connection preferred
