Executive Summary:

We are working with a US professional services company in business analytics, business applications, cloud, digital marketing, technology and managed services offerings. It operates in more than 18 countries with around 25,000 professionals and revenue of over USD 2 billlions annually. It is expanding in Asia and now actively hiring in its technical team.

As Senior Data Solution Architect, you’re at home in presales activities, including public presentations, workshops and estimations. You work with your sales team and technical consultants to transition sales from qualifying to closing. You know which solution is the right one for the project, working closely with program managers and bid teams, and you make sure that the information gathered during analysis and design phases with clients becomes actions. You are comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the process of scoping and designing technical solutions, including analysis of business requirements, evaluating business enabling technologies, defining system

architecture, scoping resource needs, researching technical alternatives, identifying risks and recommending delivery approach to successfully deliver the required business functionality

Prepare technical proposal, architecture design document and system design document, provide technical direction, and guide delivery teams (including application development) in the delivery of technically challenging solutions.

Provide high quality consulting services on all wagering and gaming technical solutions

Manage and develop high performing team of solution architects and analysts to achieve collaborative outcomes.

Use analytical thinking and technical domain knowledge to aid in Betting Systems incident and problem management activities, including critical incidents and problems impacting on production Betting Systems service levels.

Lead in evaluating and prototyping new business enabling technology for competitive advantage.

Collaborate with project managers, application developers and systems engineers to ensure solutions fit within the overall architectural framework and resolve any conflicts.

Analyze, design, develop, test and implement complex, high performance, high throughput, and high availability transaction systems for pari-mutuel and fixed odds wagering applications.

Key Requirements:

You’re an excellent communicator at every level, from operational to executive colleagues. You have extensive pre-sales experience in solution envisioning, building demonstrations, estimates, proposal development, client presentations and managing workshops. You really understand sales strategies, tactics and cycles, making use of your problem-solving and analytical skills.

Your background and skills include:

10-15 years’ experience in IT services / consulting, focus on new offering & drive business with stakeholders;

3+ experience as Architect / Technical Lead

3+ experience as PM / Delivery Lead

Excellent communication skills. English & Cantonese proficient;

Technology background in 1 of these 4 domains

MS Dynamics CRM

Microsoft BI (SQL, SSRS, SSIS)
