Job Description

The Law Society seeks applications from enthusiastic, responsible and tech-savvy person to fill the challenging position of Officer in Member Services Department.

 

Job Duties: 

  • To assist in the setting up of a tech project for the building of a legal innovation community;
  • To work with external parties and technology start-ups pursuant to the project;
  • To assist in the development of new mobile app(s) and/or other solutions as shall be identified;
  • To assist in the planning and execution of the Law Society’s technology-related strategies and activities;
  • To execute ongoing technology initiatives;
  • To assist in the organization of related functions and activities, classes, seminars, receptions and other functions;
  • To promote awareness of the project and other technology initiatives through social media and other marketing-communication campaigns;
  • To assist in the application(s) for government funding (if necessary);
  • To assist in the organisation of other activities of the Department; and
  • To assist in committee work, ad-hoc projects/ tasks as assigned.

 

Requirements: 

  • A degree holder with at least 4 years working experience in related fields;
  • Experience in technology/mobile app development is definitely an advantage;
  • Additional experience in customer service is an advantage;
  • Independent and a good team player; strong communication skills and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
  • A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  • Proficiency in computer skills including MS Office and Chinese Word Processing; and
  • Immediate available is preferred.
