Job Description
Job Duties:
- To operate 24 hours network operations centre in a shift rotation
- Monitor the customer system in the data centre as well as the data centre facilities
- Trouble shoot, report and, if necessary, take escalation steps for network and facility problems in the data centre as well as in the customer premises
- Assist in system implementation, change management, system health checks, taking back-ups, and daily operations
- Coordinate / maintain support documentation and procedures
Requirements:
- Diploma in Computer Engineering / Information Systems
- At least 2 years’ experience in Data Centre Operations, and working knowledge of computer systems
- Able to work on 3 rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays
- Knowledge in batch jobs scheduling tools
- Knowledge in Windows, UNIX and Networking would be an advantage
- Self-driven and able to work independently
