Job Description

The Job:

Direct the efforts of the business development team and industry engagement to increase outreach in target industries for creation of business opportunities as well as increase GS1HK awareness in the market across regions. This position will be responsible to coordinates at strategic and tactical levels with other functional departments to drive and deliver revenue stream of GS1 Hong Kong.

Sales Engagement
To deliver and drive revenue through development and management of customer accounts and partner’s eco-system, and identifying business opportunities based on GS1HK services. Formulate go-to-market strategy (including customer segmentation, partner alliance strategy, pipeline or lead generation) and business plan for existing, new service and solutions and implement lead generation.

Business Development
Responsible for design, plan and development in new markets and industries, leading engagement projects in target industries. Generate new ideas base on GS1 standards and best practices, create revenue stream by promoting adoption of GS1HK industry solutions and services.

The Person:

University graduate in Business Management, Computer Science or related discipline
At least 10 years experience in IT industry business development, with solid experience of solution formulation and proposal preparation
Work closely with Marketing & Industry Engagement Department to deliver the training, workshop, consultancy projects and related product and solution selling for * GS1HK
Fast learner, business oriented, customer focus and good presentation skill
Proven track record in generating revenue from business
RFID technology knowledge and Retail and Supply Chain industries exposure is a must
Good English & Putonghua are necessary
