We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Head of Architecture .

Principal responsibilities

• Managing a team of architects who serves as technology leaders in the Bank for their technical consultation, solution design and technical SMEs
• Developing and maintaining architecture strategies, goals and roadmap for the Bank along the Group approach and standards, and communicating such plan for organisational agreement and commitment
• Exercising strong governance of architecture compliance basing on Group policies and principles, and supporting effective architecture decisions with well defined procedures and documentation.
• Designing IT solutions for different businesses and functions, governing design conformance in project execution, and enabling effective architecture input in devops model
• Overseeing and managing the implementation of the data strategy from a design perspective and ensuring strong governance in data structure, integration and flow
• Governing maintainability of systems and technology stack at the enterprise level, identifying improvement and saving opportunities in design whilst protecting the Bank against technology risks and debts 
• Improving the Bank’s customer propositions, operational effectiveness, cost management and agility through adoption of new technologies including accelerated deployment of cloud

Requirements

• University degree in computer science or a related discipline
• Minimum 15 years of experience in IT Development with over 5 years on IT Architecture, TOGAF and architecture certification preferred
• Good enterprise architecture exposure and track record of solution design in banking or financial services
• Strong technology leadership skills, hand on experience in emerging technologies including cloud computing, API and AI
• Experience in working with diverse culture with global or regional exposure will be an advantage
• People management experience and leadership skills in driving a high performance team
• Strong communication, analytical, problem solving and stakeholder management skills
• Practicable experience in applying agile and devops, preferably from an architecture perspective
• Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
