Major Responsibilities:

• To monitor networks and systems for security breaches, through the use of software that detects intrusions and anomalous system behavior;
• To conduct network/application scanning to spot security vulnerabilities;
• To assist in conducting penetration testing to simulate attack on the networks/systems to spot exploitable weaknesses;
• To recommend and implement appropriate tools, countermeasures and security control to safeguard corporate assets; and
• To assist in developing and implementing tools to identify, detect, prevent, analyze and contain security threats.

Entry Requirements:

• A recognised university degree in information technology or relevant disciplines with a 2+ years' post-degree related working experience in information security function (candidates with less experience will also be considered);
• Hands on experience in DLP, endpoint security, firewall, IDS/IPS or SIEM would be an advantage;
• Working experience in C, Java, Javascript, Python, PHP and shell script preferred;
• Holder of CISA, CISSP or OSCP preferred;
• Knowledge on TCP/IP, routing, switching, Windows, Linux, cloud computing and security framework would be an advantage;
• Good intellectual, analytical, organisational and interpersonal skills; and
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
