Our client, a publicly listed conglomerate with a broad range of diversified businesses in Asia is currently looking for a senior technology executive to join their management team. Reporting to the Head of Group Operations, the job holder will play a strategic role in advising the senior management team of commercial and operation business units on how technology can add value to the process of growing the group’s business. S/he will be held accountable for the group’s yearly IT budget and the development of the group’s technology road map. The Deputy Head of IT will be managing a team of highly motivated IT professionals to advise and deliver best in class IT services and solutions to the group’s diversified business organisations on a day-to-day basis. The right candidate should possess the following:

• University graduate in Technology related disciplines

• Possesses at least 15 years of working experience in in-house information technology environment with at least 5+ years in a general IT management role

• Prior exposure in diversified business industries highly desirable

• Possesses strong business acumen, strategic thinking and leadership

• Able to demonstrate track records in driving and delivering high impact IT initiatives

• Exceptional people and communications skills

• Fluent in spoken and written English / Chinese

• Able to travel occasionally as needed
