Job Responsibilities

• Conduct research and development projects on advanced 3D imaging related technologies and applications, including but not limited to 3D image capturing, 3D image processing, and autostereoscopic (glasses-free 3D) display technologies;
• Propose new approaches to improve existing technical solutions, such as new depth map generation algorithm, 3D optical system and hardware designs;
• Manage R&D teams to accomplish the project goals;
• Explore opportunities in joint R&D projects with strategic partners to enhance the company’s technical capability, assist the company to stay in the leading position in the industry

Requirements

• PhD in science or engineering discipline is desirable;
• At least 10 years of solid experience in research and development projects of universities or technical institutes is preferable;
• Good track record in developing new IP and inventions;
• Experience in R&D on both 3D imaging and non-imaging technologies is a must;
• Experience in image processing algorithm and programming in C/C++ and Python is a must;
• Knowledge in various technical aspects e.g. artificial intelligence, FPGA, information technologies and security, robotics and automation, etc. is required;
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, able to conduct problem solving alone;
• Passion in learning new technologies.
