Responsibilities:

 

• Assist Head of IT to formulate the overall strategy of Application Systems and architecture in the Bank having taken into account recent technology development, regulatory and market requirements and business needs
• Lead and oversee the application developments to complement the Bank’s overall strategy, roadmap and business plan
• Prepare and present system development & AS projects (“projects”) plan, including budgetary and resources planning with appropriate communications with senior management and project stakeholders
• Supervise and application systems’ teams for executing projects, daily support and operations and ad-hoc requests, ensuring timely and quality deliverables
• Manage and report project progress, from prospective of resource efficiency, timeliness, deliverable quality and performance, key stakeholders communication and vendor management throughout the product life cycle, to senior management
• Enforce the IT security control and regulatory compliance requirement are included in all the related system enhancements / projects
• Formulate / develop / update all other essences including processes, workflows, procedures & controls, training programs for the application development which comply with both external regulatory requirements and internal policies & guidelines
• Address to requests and comments from both external and internal audits, examination and reviews and ensure timely implementation of any agreed actions

Requirements:

 

• University Degree in IT or business related discipline
• PMP certification preferred
• Minimum 10 years relevant in banking & finance experience of which 5 years in managerial level
• Good understanding and solid experience on system development, support and maintenance life cycle
• In-depth knowledge on banking products including loans and deposits and related regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication skills and excellent command of both spoken and written English & Chinese
• Effective interpersonal skills, hardworking, energetically to deliver results, self-motivated, committed team player, can work independently and under pressure.
