Job Description:
- Support the Head of IT in ensuring the bank progresses its strategic plan to drive efficiency through use of technology within a regulated environment
- Ensure technological advances and stable delivery of IT services within the Bank through planning, organizing and managing the IT team and coordinating with Group IT
- Propose strategic and tactical plans for supporting business plan
- Identify the strength and weakness of existing IT platform and leverage them to improve cost effectiveness and efficiency
- Drive the IT convergence of IT systems and infrastructure
- Drive continuous improvement in IT solutions
- Oversee the Group’s overall and technical specification of IT strategy development, and assure they align with bank’s scope and business strategy
- Keep updated with major IT trends and developments in the technical fields
- Support the implementation of cutting edge innovation
- Evaluate, identify potential challenges and develop contingency plan to minimize business risks
Job Requirements:
- University degree holder
- 10+ years’ experience in IT management and planning with Bank / Financial Sector
- Proven experience in leading an IT department and operating at senior management level
- Demonstrable experience in IT strategic planning, organizational design and development
- Strong understanding in regulatory requirements, risk and compliance
- Excellent IT operation and technical skills
- Understanding of latest technology trends
- Proven experience working in complex and dynamic environments
- Excellent command of both spoken and written Chinese (Chinese and Mandarin) and English
Languages
Fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
