Job Description
Our client is a Global Insurance firm currently working to launch the first B2C online platform in Hong Kong. They are looking for development manager to look after an existing team of 6 – 8 developers, the development manager should have experience working with vendors and offshore team, a domain knowledge in digital insurance will be ideal, as this will be a newly set up team, they would welcome new joiners to have experience working in small teams and running SCRUM/ AGILE. They will be aiming to launch their product in the following quarter, so candidates with short availability will be preferred.
In general, the company has a western-cultured, startup environment to promote innovation and creativity.
Requirements:
- 7 years+ experience of Software development
- Experience in leading a team of at least 3 developers
- Familiar with Java, Hibernate, Spring, Struts
- Familiar with React, Angular, Vue
- Knowledge in Insurance industry will be required
- SCRUM/ AGILE practice will be an advantage
- Fluent in English and Chinese speaking
