Job Description
About the company.
My client is a top-tier life insurer in Hong Kong with a global presence. Having developed their business and brand name successfully in recent years, they are looking for an underwriter to join their team to cope with the rapid growth. This will be a fantastic opportunity for junior underwriter to gain a fast-track career progression in life underwriter.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in underwriting risk assessment on life and medical products with delegated authority
- Support managers on reviewing and updating underwriting guidelines and procedures in order to ensure smooth workflow
- Handle enquiries from and build relationship with frontline sales
- Participate in trainings and workshops
- Handle ad-hoc projects
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of life underwriting experience
- Possess underwriting authority with minimum of medical standard level
- University graduate
- Professional qualification in life insurance such as FLMI, ALU, etc.
- Good communication and analytical mind
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese
