Key responsibilities:

• Responsible to advise, agree and sustain strategy and direction for dedicated region/entities in line with Group goals.
• Understands the country level situation through regular business reviews, supervises and challenges the tactical steps which are done on the country level.
• Provides mentoring support to CEOs as needed.
• Promotes Group requirements towards the countries, facilitates the alignment of HQ and country priorities.
• Acts as an escalation point in case the country priorities or needs must be supported, facilitates the alignment, prioritization and capacities for such a support.
• Cooperates on the quality staffing, succession and retention for the EXCO level in the assigned region.
• Ensures delivery of the agreed outcomes (including financials) to the shareholders and other stakeholders for assigned region.
• Represents the company in dealing with various stakeholders - shareholders, regulators, key business partners.

Required skills and knowledge: 

• University degree preferably in relation to Corporate management
• 10+ years of relevant international experience in financial services / banking / e-commerce or retail sectors, preferably growing markets in Asia but also European union and CIS
• CEO or CEO-1 experience with at least 3 different entities (large company for several months minimum)
• Knowledge of corporate governance, finance and performance management principles
• External work relations capability
• Proven capability to manage sales and business development projects in companies with 15k+ employees
• Experience in cross-cultural management in own team, not only theoretical but very practical with positive result (proven by former job)
• Czech language due to heavy cooperation with HQ in Czech republic
• Proven track record of practical experience (work, projects delivered) in South East Asian economies: demonstrate at least 3 largely successful projects in China and Russia.
• Experience with online lending of products for Consumer Finance company in Asia /EU/CIS.
