Job Description
Job responsibilities:
- Responsible to develop and sustain country level strategy and direction in line with Group goals, to communicate a vision of the company and take steps to make it a reality
- Ensures the complete internal controls system is in place to be fully compliant and consistent with the strategy and long-term targets set by the shareholders
- Be sensitive to the situation at the market and to the potential risks / future business trends
- Building and leading stable senior executive team / Develop successor’s pool for the roles of CEO / CEO-1
- Modeling and setting the company’s culture and behavior
- Allocating capital to the company’s priorities
- Ensures delivery of the agreed outcomes (including financials) to the shareholders and other stakeholders.
- Represents the company in dealing with various stakeholders - shareholders, regulators, key business partners.
Required knowledge and skills
- University degree in economics or technical area & MBA
- 15+ years of relevant international experience in financial services / retail or finance consulting sectors, preferably growing markets
- CEO cross-functional experience with 2 different verticals
- CEO experience from at least 3 different large companies with one at least 100k+ employees on Group level
- Knowledge of corporate governance, finance and performance management principles
- Good skills of public speaking / Interview to the media proficiency
- The ability to interpret systemic changes of the industry due to regulatory and innovation and proactively react by creating business partnerships and alliances across the Asian and European markets
- Ability to manage multiple projects in various areas including business development, sales, risk innovation, branding and external affairs
- The ability to develop a good knowledge of key stakeholders and how to influence them as well as the ability to assess accurately the current disposition of stakeholders on issues.
