Department – Quality Assurance

Position Reports To – V.P. of Business Development / General Manager

General Description

This position primarily responsible for the full compliance with quality-related certificates (ISO22000), controls documents, co-ordinates support for quality control of purchasing, receiving & delivery, production & operation of product, also maintain the quality and smooth flow of the system.

Responsibilities:

  Essential Duties

•  Keep up to date with food Safety Manual (FSM), legislation, and technological developments
•  Ensure all records are completed and up to date
•  Food sampling is undertaken
•  Food microbial testing is undertaken at the required frequency
•  Maintain HACCP modules and provide support to suppliers, cold chain logistic etc. for            implementation and compliance verification    
•  Provide management with summaries and trend analysis of food safety tests
•  Conduct internal audit and evaluation of procedure with food safety requirements
•  Provide compliance training to all members regularly and in timely manner if needed
•  Implement management plans to correct areas of noncompliance
•  Provide quality control support, prepare, conduct audits on related parties
•  Act as liaison between the HACCP team and the HR department on issues relating to HR and  the staff
•  Ad-hoc tasks

Qualifications and Requirements:
  Work Experience Requirement

•  1-2 years working experience in food safety and quality control related position

  Education Requirement

•  Bachelor degree (Undergraduate) in food safety or equivalent
•  Preferable to have food safety related certifications or training

  Skills Requirement

•  Able to speak and read Chinese “Cantonese & Mandarin(PuTongHua)” and English.
•  Proficient in MS office and familiar with cloud (Google Drive, One-Drive)
•  Multitask, communication and organization skill
•  Be able to work as a team and work alone when supervision isn’t available

  Travel Required

•  On-site quality and system support at delivery location, may include Mainland China
•  On-site audit operations and implementation for related parties, may include Mainland China
