The Jobs

l Work with the Global Quality Assurance Chemical Manager to guide and direct vendors on their quality assurance performance by constantly reviewing their chemical set up and procedures including production systems, raw material controls and implementing new strategies and processes

l Provide technical support/ problem solving assistance to suppliers when legal / chemical compliance issues arise

l Work with 3rd party test houses and vendors to ensure smooth testing process and execution of testing policies

l Working with Global QA to coach and liaise with merchandisers and buying teams on testing requirements during the development/production process.

l Generating factory audit reports for Global QA to review

l Conduct follow up corrective actions with factories following discussion and direction with Global QA Manager

l Monitoring and producing legal updates to the merchandising team in relation to chemical developments in conjunction with Global QA

l Supporting and assisting the Global QA function as necessary and when required

l Follow up and collaborate on special/ad hoc projects which require chemical assistance

Requirement:

l Degree holder in Chemistryor equivalent job experience

l At least 8 years experience of working in a similar role; either within a Test House, a global Retail business environment or in a Factory Audit capacity

l Familiar with US, EU and China chemical testingrequirements and legislation

l Working knowledge of product law /standards

l Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
