• support  fabric souring
• Work closely with designer of fabric development
• Support seasonal fabric development
• Support souring team in seasonal sample development with best value pc goods 
• Keep close monitoring the merchandising process
• Assist Fabric Manager look for new resources for existing & new products as well as replacement for poor performers if necessary.
• Conduct negotiation in price, lead time and manage capacity with mills 
• Monitor bulk fabric testing status to ensure quality standard in being fulfilled. Deal with mills in case of any failure in testing and make necessary alert to souring team.
•  Assist in measure of performance of mills in terms of price, quality, delivery and customer service for souring consideration,
• Work closely with manager in costing, price negotiation and price comparison of different sources options.
• Need work close with planning team to place pre-book fabric order for early delivery or longer leadtime fabric to mill
• Co-ordinate with QC on quality related matter to ensure quality meets specifications.
• Ensure bulk on time delivery from fabric vendors

Personnel Specifications:

• Degree holder in  Textile Engineering, Textile & Fashion
• Minimum Relevant Experience: 5 years  industry background and 3 years as fabric merchandiser.
• Possess Denim knowledge is a plus
