QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER:

Objective:

• Responsible for managing China quality functions of product quality assurance, and Contract Manufacturer quality control, and for providing cross-functional project management and leadership in quality assurance, process control, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Directly manage personnel and all work performed by the China Quality to meet the needs of the Company business
• Oversee development, implementation and monitoring of all quality procedures in support of the Company's Quality System requirements. Develop and provide necessary training to personnel
• Lead the new product development quality effort in China, including quality planning and execution, test planning and executive and Contract Manufacturer's control plan
• Establish and organize the necessary Contract Manufacturer quality control procedures and performance goals. Establish statistical methods and metrics. Develop and implement process audit programs
• Provide leadership in problem analysis and corrective action. Implement and manage corrective action systems and procedures
• Provide technical advice & solution on our product quality improvement & compliance
• Work closely with internal departments to make sure quality issues are well resolved

Requirements:

• Degree holder in electronic / mechanical engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in toys QA/QC field with 5 years at supervision level
• TOY experience is a must (Candidate without toy experience will not be considered)

• Experience in handling soft, hard toys and cosmetics.
• Familiar with US, Europe and other major int’l market’s toys quality and safety requirements

• Broad working knowledge of manufacturing, factory compliance,  quality control, and materials functions
• Management techniques and practices necessary to lead, direct, manage, train and utilize department resources effectively, and to work with and lead cross-functional teams and projects
• Ability to make appropriate and effective use of oral and written English to communicate, cooperate and negotiate with diverse individuals and groups
• Ability to plan and organize work to effectively perform assigned tasks in a timely manner
• Ability to learn, and to increase and update knowledge and methods affecting area of responsibility
• Ability to engage in cooperative and responsible behavior which affects the operation of the department and the company in a positive manner
• Frequent travel to China
