Job Description

Our client is a HK based jewellery manufacturer and exporter. They are looking for a experienced puchasing expert with extensive supplier network to lead their purchasing team in Hong Kong & China.

Purchasing
- Develop and implement purchasing planning in alignment with company's revenue target and the direction of product development
- Lead the subordinates to oversee the entire purchasing process in both Hong Kong and China
- Analyze the purchasing management report and stone cost control
- Work with internal & external parties effectively to ensure the product compliance & flawless production execution
- Manage suppliers' relationships
Management
- Identify strengths and gaps in team & indivdual performance and to seek solutions
- Implement and maintain regular communication channels to keep teams up-to-date with
current performance - Maintain high level of integrity within the team and also within the business
skills & experiences required.
- 10 years purchasing experience in jewellery industry, in which at least 3 years at supervisory level
- With strong knowledge on diamonds & gems
- With strong sourcing network
- Open-minded, innovative, flexible, driven
- Well-organized, with strong analytical and communication skills
- Strong people management skills
- Good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Regular travel to China is necessary
