Job Description

The holder of this post will work closely with global/regional/local team, as well as external stakeholders and partners to support the firm’s Community Engagement vision and mission.

Responsibilities:

  • Help to develop and implement Community Engagement (CE) strategies that result in positive impacts across the East Asia Region
  • Manage CE strategies and initiative implementation throughout the region, monitor and report on CE goals and other key performance indicators
  • Collaborate with local offices to support the development of a cohesive approach to CE throughout the region
  • Conduct research, develop policies, create detailed plans, manage and build relationships with strategic partner organisations
  • Manage day-to-day operations including event/programme management, commitment delivery, employee engagement, budget administration, fund proposal review, committee administration and various reports
  • Raise awareness of the firm’s commitment to Community Engagement and generating publicity around firm’s altruistic endeavours
  • Assist in ad-hoc project/activities as assigned

Qualifications & Experience required:

  • Degree holder in Business Administration, Communications, PR or related discipline
  • Minimum 7-8 years of solid experience in Community Engagement or Corporate Social Responsibility activities planning and implementation, experience in organizing volunteering and fund-raising activities and project management is preferable
  • Experience in charitable NGO is an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to lead projects and interact with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to handle simultaneous activities with multiple deadlines
  • Attentive to detail and quality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English. Fluency in Mandarin
