Job Description
Key responsibilities:
- Developing relationships with strategic partners in offline and online sales, in risk, innovation and big data across the Asia and also in European Union;
- Leading and supporting key accounts on the Asian and European markets who are responsible for business development;
- Creating, executing and supporting business development in funding, sales and innovation across the region;
- Executing strategic business projects on behalf of the Group senior leadership;
- Supporting Group innovation across the region through partnerships with technology leaders, fintech companies, innovation hubs and universities;
- Supporting development and execution of the strategy of corporate affairs for all markets in the Group;
- Supporting development and especially execution of the strategy of corporate affairs for Asian markets of the Group and also in European Union;
- Identify important stake holders and work with them using key account management (as in sales organizations) designating senior executives as “owners” of important relationships;
- Establishing group standards, provide thought leadership, and monitor implementation;
- Identifying issues, developing positions, international benchmarking;
- Understanding developing policy issues;
- Proactive proposal of solutions;
- Quantifying impact on all stakeholders.
Required knowledge and experience:
- 10+ years of significant leadership experience operating in complex, heavily regulated, multi-national environments;
- University level education or professional qualification in: economics, finance, mathematics – economic models;
- Consultative, collaborative, engagement and influencing skills to be able to speak to internal stakeholders and all levels within the organisation and external agencies as required;
- Credibility at Board, CEO, and Executive team level, providing strategic counsel and comfortable ‘speaking truth to power’;
- A sophisticated commercial mind-set, ensuring that agenda is positioned within the broader business and wider industry/economic context.
- Business Development capabilities, proven by multiple successfully created B2B partnerships in multiple countries;
- Succesfully proven interdepartmental leadership and capability to coordinate projects in sales, risk innovation, business development and external affairs;
- Proven capability to run sales and business development projects.
- Recognised business development ability and ability to develop and finalize complex deals across the Asian and European markets;
- The ability to interpret systemic changes of the industry due to regulatory and innovation and proactively react by creating business partnerships and alliances.
- Recognised and demonstrable excellence in public affairs, campaigning and stakeholder engagement in Asia and EU;
- The ability to interpret the political and media landscape in global markets and the motives of key opinion formers and their commercial consequences;
- The ability to analyse and appraise information and situations to recommend the appropriate action and provide the business with effective, actionable advice;
- The ability to develop a good knowledge of key stakeholders and how to influence them as well as the ability to assess accurately the current disposition of stakeholders on issues.
- A mastery of communication, speaking/presentation, writing and editing skills;
- Ability to coach as well as personally execute;
- Ability to run multiple projects in various areas including business development, sales, risk innovation, branding and external affairs;
- Ability to deliver tangible results in partnership creation, sales, branding and external affairs.
