Opus is partnering with a financial research firm, to help source a Marketing and Communications Specialist for their Corporate Communications department. You will work closely with the APAC Marketing Director in an international environment and will be responsible for all the media relations, corporate communications, and partnerships.

What will you do?

• Develop and deliver a local media relations plan in accordance with the global media plan, APAC Marketing plan, and the company wide business strategy
• Act as a strategic communications consultant with external business partners, especially in the media sector including print, online, press media etc.
• Responsible for writing all content materials ranging from press releases, PR plans and speeches
• Adopt an integrated and creative PR approach by drawing on various resources and strategies, such as social media, content marketing etc.
• Managing internal relationships within the company and actively looking to build new external relationships with other media contacts and key stakeholders

Who are you?

• 3+ years of experiences in corporate communications and media relation; preferably in the FinTech or Financial Services sector
• Fluent English and Chinese communication skills: writing and verbal
• In addition to a strong editorial flair for producing quality and engaging press materials
• A strategic thinker and problem solver in identifying the appropriate media channels for various campaigns or media plans
• High organisational skills with the ability to multi-task between different projects and deadlines simultaneously
