HealthCore is currently helping one of its clients, a leading global pharmaceutical company, to recruit a Director of Medical Affairs. This is a regional Asia position covering selected countries.

General Job Responsibilities: 

The incumbent will develop medical affairs strategies and manage related activities for the responsible therapeutic area. Represent the company and develop professional external relationships with healthcare professionals, KOLs, public health officials, etc., through scientific & educational exchanges / programs, meetings and other initiatives. Be the medical / scientific expert internally; contribute and work with cross functional teams on special projects and post-marketing studies.   

 General Qualifications / Skills:

• Related work experience gained from the pharmaceutical / medical industry. 

• MD, Pharmacy or PhD medical / pharmaceutical science related 
• Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills
• Direct people management experience NOT required
• Fluent in English and Chinese
• Frequent international travels required
