Established in Hong Kong since 1997, our client main activities focus on trading and distribution.
They are specialized in fun gardening items, but also trade various products such as gift and premiums from China to Europe.
 
They are looking for a high calibrate candidate for the position of Senior Merchandiser.

Your mission:

• Working independently, you will ensure our customers receive their goods on-time and for the quality required.
• You will need to monitor the whole merchandising flow including sourcing, product development, sampling,  production, inspection (Done by third party) and shipment.
• You will be assigned several customers’ accounts and you will need to follow everything for them from A to Z and report to them daily.
• You will be required to send quotations to your customers (With assistance from Management).
• Products : ceramic & zinc planters, packaging in wood or cardboard, bags, and various gardening items. (Products are easy and training will be given).

Candidate Profile and experience:

• University graduated / Degree in International Trade or Equivalent.
• Strong experience in Purchasing / Sourcing / Production follow-up.
• Strong business sense able to quote customers independently.
• Perfect command of both written & spoken English is a must.
• Perfect command of both written & spoken Mandarin & Cantonese is a must.
• Past experience in the gift and premium industry preferred.

• At ease with shipping procedures, forwarder communication, shipping documents.
