Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for all procurement activities related to the regional office Hong Kong, in particular:
- Electronics (focus)
- Packaging
- Cost optimization
- Formulation of master agreements and supply agreements
- Development and enhancement of specific procurement strategies
- Ongoing procurement market research, in particular identifying new sources
- Price budgeting and monitoring for the responsible field
- Define material group and supplier strategy and work on optimization of the existing portfolios
- Supply planning and allocation, supplier management & purchase order fulfillment management
- Part of the project team member of new product development as the representative of procurement function
Requirements
- At least 5 years' experience in strategic procurement of:
- Electronic components
- Packaging and printed materials
- Finish good assembly
- Sourcing in the Asiatic region, especially in China
- Knowledge of MS Office packages (especially Excel), and nice to know any ERP or SAP R3 module MM
- Fluent spoken and written business English and Mandarin
- Extensive experience in the areas of:
- International procurement market analyses
- Supplier evaluation and selection process
- Working in Factory environment is a plus
- Supplier Relationship Management
