Community Business is a not-for-profit organisation (Hong Kong Charity Number 91/6560) whose mission is to lead, inspire and support businesses to have a positive impact on people and communities.  A recognized leader in advancing responsible and inclusive business in Asia, we are looking for an Associate to support our Marketing and Communications Initiatives.  This is a role ideally suited for a professional who is self-motivated and passionate about impacting positive changes. 

Key Responsibilities

This is a full-time role reporting to Senior Manager,  Marketing and Communications. This role will include, but not be limited to the following responsibilities:

• Be knowledgeable and champion Community Business’ overall strategy, positioning and offerings.
• Assist in the planning and execution of marketing and communications strategies.
• Develop content to support the organisation’s position as a thought leader, including but not limited to press releases, social media posts, newsletters, annual report and translation when necessary, to effectively promote the organisation and its campaigns and programmes.
• Assist in building media relations, pitching stories to local and regional media, and monitoring media coverage.
• Support and coordinate with internal teams for the planning, organisation and execution of various events as well as marketing and communications initiatives.
• Assist with managing the organisation’s online presence, including websites and social media
• Liaise with external parties, such as printing and production vendors, to ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables.
• Handle ad-hoc projects as required.

Selection Criteria

Candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Degree holder or equivalent, preferably major in Marketing / Communication / Translation / Journalism.
• A keen interest in corporate social responsibility (CSR), diversity and inclusion, and creating a positive impact through working closely with the business sector.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English, professional level Cantonese and Mandarin will be an advantage.
• Self-motivated with strong analytical thinking and able to come up with creative solutions to problems.
• A strong eye for detail and an open mind to learn new things.
• A good team-player with a flexible and can-do attitude.
• Resilient, able to work under pressure in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment and deliver quality results within tight timelines.

Salary

Salary will be commensurate with the relevant experience of the successful candidate.
