Job Description

Act as the key liaison between Commercial, Supply Chain and Logistics teams to ensure business and customer needs are met as required.

Coach, manage and develop regional customer service team in managing day-to-day order management and fulfillment activities while instilling a continuous improvement culture

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Supply Planning on latest supply status. Maintain close communication with commercial team to actively manage customers’ expectations based on latest supply status. Work with the commercial team / customer to overcome supply issues
  • Plan intake and shipment consolidation actions with customers
  • Act as point of contact for product complaints and partnering with Supply Planning/Sourcing team to resolve the issues
  • Support and validate order book conversion on monthly basis
  • Work with Demand Planning, Commercial and Finance team to provide input in to the monthly forecasting process with customer specific insights
  • Provide regular reporting to facilitate maximized order book conversion:
    • Credit held orders
    • Allocated / non-allocation
    • Potential ship dates
    • Aged orders
    • Non-converting contracts
  • Following and tracking order book conversion / cancellations rates / aged order / undrawn contracts book etc. Execute order management disciplines – i.e. aged order cancellations etc
  • Other tactical responsibilities include but not limited to: wholesales /Licensee order placement, creation of OBD, handling of shipping instruction with vendors
  • Actively pursue improvements to workflows and procedures that will benefit the ordering process. Identify the opportunities, initiate and lead the project for process reengineering, optimization and system integration

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of related experience in customer service, supply chain or logistics management field, preferably with multi-national company in apparel, retail or FMCG industry
  • At least 3 years in supervisory role
  • Degree holder in International Trading, Business Management, Supply Chain and Logistics Management or other related subjects
  • Experience on International Trading / Sales / Customer Service / Order, Inventory Management / Compliance Regulation
  • Strong business acumen with outstanding analytical and problem solving skills
  • Well-organized, logical & mature thinking, attention to details, dedicated, energetic and being a self-starter
  • Computer literate with excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in SAP, Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office applications.
  • Excellent in speaking and written English and Chinese
  • Fluency in Japanese is an advantage
